We’ve just launched the PaperCut MF/NG 22.1.4 maintenance release. There are no security fixes related to CVEs in this release, just minor bug fixes and enhancements.

There may be a PaperCut MF/NG 22.1.5 maintenance release in September but this is not yet confirmed and could be incorporated into the 23.0 release.

We’re focused on addressing additional security uplifts that have been identified, which move us in line with continued best practices. These uplifts will form the basis of the PaperCut MF/NG 23.0 release that's scheduled for late October.

Should any new vulnerabilities be identified, we'll work to address them as part of the monthly maintenance release updates or in the 23.0 release. 

Details of what's included in releases - including security patches - will be covered in our monthly release communications, plus the security bulletin and security notification. To keep on top of security updates, It's essential that you read and absorb the monthly release communications and security bulletin and subscribe to the security notification mailing list.

PaperCut Hive cloud endpoint updates

All large Hive customers have now been migrated to the new cloud endpoints and the rest are tracking well to complete the move with minimal support. All details for the required URL change are here.

Scan to shared Google Drive

Certified by Google, Scan to shared Google Drives is now available in PaperCut Hive.

With our first regional data center running in Australia since June to iron out any wrinkles, engineering teams are preparing to flip the switch and bring two new EMEA hosting options online next month.

Queues & Drivers (Manufacturer Driver) for Hive and Pocket

Since this highly anticipated feature launched in June we’ve seen 25% of Hive customers using Find-Me queues with manufacturer drivers. Make sure your new and existing customers are getting the most out of your hardware today.

Scan Automation

With Capture Field Variables in PaperCut Hive, automating folder, subfolder and filename creation and even populating email address books.

Google Workspace user sync

Scheduled for release late this month, we’re further extending our Google Workspace sync functionality in PaperCut Hive to include user swipe cards and access codes.

Hive customers wishing to manage user identities in Google Workspace as their single source of truth can create custom user attributes to store swipe card numbers and access codes, which can then be synchronized into Hive.

Stay tuned for specific launch messaging later in the month, with a video demonstration showing how to configure the sync.

The Intuitive two-page flyer has been given an update and now includes PaperCut Hive. Also, thanks to the team at Intuitive it’s not only available in English but German, French, Italian and Spanish too.
